The novel eHIPPS design provides an built in SIL3 safety function without the need of safety electronics.

The eHIPPS Actuator has a redundant design implemented to provide the highest level of availability.
Retirevability
The retrievable SEAVO eHIPPS Actuator is designed towards a ROV Class 7 interface, to allow an easy integration towards other systems. The locking mechanism has an emergency release to be retrievable at any conditions.
Additional Functions
The actuator has an integrated battery to allow a controlled shutdown sequence. The position of the Rotary to Linear Mechanism (RLM) is indicated via a position indicator.
